Why There Is No Word For Father in Many Languages

any in the western world we would not expect that some nations have overlooked or are ignorant about the role of a father in the procreation of children. Yet, there are many languages that are missing an original term for the male parent. Among them are the languages of aboriginal tribes, such as the indigenous people in Australia and those of the Trobriand Islands.

That being the case we then must ask why? The answer is rather obvious when one looks at who is ignorant of the reproductive mechanisms of animals. They are largely those of islands which, like Australia, was cut off from contact with the west until just over 200 years ago.

Europeans followed trends set in the Fertile Crescent of the Levant were animals were collected and held in pens. With the separation of males to females there was no prodigy except where sexual segregation did not occur. This wizened their keepers to the knowledge that males play a role in reproduction.

This had other repercussions as until then the Mother God of the Islamic religion practiced in the area was a virgin. Her name was 'Mary' which whence comes the term 'marry' and men deemed they could fertilise her by dying on crosses at dawn and rising upwards on sun-beams into the heavens.

As this notion spread along with animal husbandry all who were in contact with this part of the world changed their beliefs and the term 'father' was invented for men. 'Father', 'further', and 'farther', are all basically the same and men married to Mary were far away.

Those who were cut off from this thinking had no knowledge of a man in this light and so never had a use for the term father.

My reincarnation and knowledge given to me by the Spirit brought the big picture into focus. Religious dreams and the Islamic religion spread throughout the so-called civilised world. Their progress is easy to trace through the idols and the Mother God, Mary, of their invention.

Led by the Spirit, however, much more was given to show that only the truly spiritual people will understand what it is they are meant to see. Articles like this
